A year of transition

The past year has been a whirlwind… a new job, then no job, a new city, selling my home of five years and leaving my home of the last 16 years. I left Athens after calling it home since 1996 (except for 2 years in Washington D.C.), and have made Atlanta my new home.

When the summer started last year, I still loved moving. I loved the aspects of organizing, packing and unpacking, and of sorting out what I didn’t need anymore. After a year of living out of boxes, I am over moving! I can’t wait to go to a bookshelf and find the book I want to read right away. I can’t wait to go into the closet and find the dress I want to wear the next day. I miss MY space!

For the next year, I hope that a new job, a new home and a new adventure are on the horizon.
